Tell a Friend
Most of the time I have a mindset of non-conformity. Today, however, I was caught up in the whole "One voice. One Mindset." mentality, all of us voicing one opinion, and, well, here I am.

This is where I think of some important element I must speak about involving the environment. I, however, have nothing. I think that the environment is important, and we should all do little things to save it. You never would think that every person doing a small thing would help, but it all adds up. One person recycling is not much of a help, however, if you have a whole subdivision recycling, that's a much broader impact. If we can only get the message out there..

We need to stop trying to "scare 'em straight" when it comes to our world. This won't work. You cannot scare someone into your believes. Life doesn't work that way. Don't tell us the polar ice caps are melting and little baby seals are going to heat up and explode, half of that information is absolute garbage. You should just tell us how we, me, I, my brother, can help save the environment by doing a small part. As I previously stated, everyone doing a small part adds up.

All in all,  it's not the people who drive the "green" cars, live in "green" houses, etc that make the impact. We all know those are few and far between. It's the people who help in small ways that make the impact. If you have 4 people who live "green lives," OF COURSE they are going to help save the environment; yet when you have 200 people who recycle, it makes broad impacts all around. Don't let people bully you into the mindset that you have to, absolutely MUST live a "green life." Tiny steps help just as well as the huge leaps.
